Mount Family Christmas
FROM THROUGHOUT THE YEARS

“Therefore, the Lord waits to be gracious to you.” - Isaiah 30:18
This year has been full of too many blessings to count! David continues to work with the Redux Group and has had the honor of working with over 16 families to buy and sell homes. Kirsten continues to work as a product advisor for Gnowbe and started a new company- Creative Prayer Co. to help people pray in creative ways. But more than anything, we have loved watching our boys grow. In many ways it has seemed like this past year took a turn from pure chaos management to one where we began to see our children’s personalities in a whole new way - and truly enjoy them.
Our favorite thing has been watching them delight in the world around them. Isaac loves legos and drawing, Samuel loves climbing and cars, and John loves bubbles, balloons, balls and anything round! Time and time again, Isaiah 30:18 has come to mind. In the original Hebrew, the word wait implies a joyful and eager anticipation. We know the feeling well - we can barely wait for Christmas morning so we can see the joy on our kids faces by all the gifts and surprises we chose specifically for them. In the same way, God waits in joyful anticipation to shower us with His love, gifts and favor. Let us bless Him in return by receiving all He has given us with joy! Joy to the world the Lord has come! May we receive our King!
Love, David, Kirsten, Isaac(6), Samuel(4) and John(1) Mount
